At Marryatville Primary School our vision is to provide our students with the skills and knowledge to lead resilient and flourishing lives, understand personal strengths, embrace learning and challenge, be curious, take necessary learning risks and have pride in their accomplishments.

The school pursues this vision through the delivery of the Australian Curriculum. This sets the framework for what all students will learn at Marryatville Primary School. The learning areas are;

• English
• Mathematics
• Science
• Humanities and Social Studies
• The Arts
• Technologies
• Health and Physical Education
• Languages (French at MPS).

An important dimension of the curriculum are the general capabilities which our students gain through their engagement with the learning areas. These are literacy, numeracy, information and communication technology capability, critical and creative thinking, personal and social capability, ethical understanding and intercultural understanding.

Through a supportive and positive school culture our students pursue excellence and strive to achieve their fullest potential, whilst fulfilling our school motto of ‘Ambition with Honour’.
